Where to Stay
Our wedding venue, The Shangri-la Hotel, is located in the 16th arrondisement in Paris. Iéna is the closest metro station.
As the former residence of Napoleon Bonaparte's grandnephew and in the capable hands of the Shangri-La Hotel Group, you will be guaranteed a luxurious and warm welcome if you stay there.

Alternatively, please look for accommodation near the Trocadero or the Palais de Tokyo. We have stayed at Le Dokhan's and Hôtel Garden Elysée. There are also many service apartments in the area.

In any case, whilst our venue is away from the hustle and bustle of the very-city-centre, it is only 10 to 15 minutes by cab from most of sightseeing locations. The Eiffel Tower is a 11-minute walk across the River Seine. The Champs-Élysées is less than a 7-minute ride or 15-minute on foot away. You can get to the Louvre in 10 minutes by car and 23 minutes by public transport.

To summarise, for your safety and convenience, we would recommend the following areas to stay in:
-
The 16th arrondisement / Trocadero - This will be the closest area to our hotel. Reputably safe and "posh".
-
Around the Tuileries / Rue de Faubourg Saint Honore - For your luxurious hotels and shopping, pick this area. You will find 5* hotels such as Le Bristol and The Ritz, rubbing shoulders with Hermè, Chanel and Colette.
-
Near Champs-Élysée - A good place to start for exploring Paris.
-
Near Galeries Lafayette Haussmann - Come here for all your one-stop shopping needs.
